Michael Kamara from Cottonwood Foundation Visits Nashville

Michael and Joann Kamara from Cottonwood Foundation visited Woodmont on December 7.  After giving a report and greetings to our church, Michael and Joann joined us for a luncheon hosted at Tim and Deb Siktberg's home.   Michael's group is graciously administering and distributing our funds in Sierra Leone to the children we are educating.  His foundation is active in building schools and supporting agriculture projects like growing ginger to help rebuild Sierra Leone.  Our prayers are for Sierra Leone to be self-supporting and dedicated to Christ in all that they do.  We thank God for the Kamara's work in Sierra Leone.

Ahmed and Sylvia Konteh, Jim and Mary Alice Kearley, Bert and Ruth Dyson, Keith and Karen Tobias, Marcus and Barbara Voehler, and Calvin and Jamie Dunham joined in hearing the report of the work.  Michael provided the group with the latest update of financial records.  Some of our Woodmont group and Ahmed are planning another trip to Sierra Leone in the Spring of 2009.
